Synthesis of some new derivatives of indole-containing heterocycles

Some new derivatives of indole, 1H,6H-pyrrolo[2,3-e]indole and isomeric pyrroloindolo[2,3-b]quinoxaline were synthesized, in particular: •7-bromo-5-methyl-2-ethoxycarbonylindole, its 3-formyl derivative and its corresponding hydrazone; •3-cyanomethyl derivatives of 2-ethoxycarbonylindole and some 2-arylindoles and the corresponding mono- and dicarboxylic acids; •3-methyl-2-ethoxycarbonyl-1H,8H-pyrrolo[3,2-g]indole-6,7-dione and 3-methyl-2-ethoxycarbonyl-1H,12H-pyrrolo[3',2': 6,7]indolo[2,3-b]quinoxaline.
