An analytical method for computing wake functions for a circular beam pipe - an update

In this study, closed form equations are found for the wake functions generated by an offset point-charge traveling at an arbitrary speed in a circular infinitely long beam pipe made of an infinitely thick conductor. The wake function contributions from the longitudinal and transverse dipolar impedances are derived by taking the Inverse Fourier Transform of approximate form of impedances. We find that the derived equations for the indirect space charge wake functions as well as the contribution from the resistive wall impedance match quite well with the computational algorithm from ImpedanceWake2D.
